Nathan Byers was very professional, thorough and friendly. He did a very good job installing my ceiling fan. He even cleaned up all of his mess; he even vacuumed the floor. What I did not like is the cost: $285 to install one ceiling fan; only took little more than an hour. That's a lot of money!There was nothing to take out because the previous light was already dismantled. I tried to get an estimate when I called Hoover to make the appointment, but was told the electrician would have to come out to give me a price (which would cost $65). So when I hear $570 for two light installations, I'm shocked! But I don't want to lose the $65 so I go ahead and pay the fee for one installation. (NOTE: Loews quoted me $119 flat rate to install ceiling fan; however, they didn't have the light I wanted. So I went to Home Depot and they referred me to Hoover Electric. Maybe I should have bought a different light/fan.) Oh well, it's done and my husband is happy. I called another electrician who agreed to install the other ceiling fan for $70. He's done work for me in the past and I recently saw some lights he installed at my dad's house. I should have waited for his return call.
